He attended the John Herron Art School, the Art Students League NYC, Traflinger Studios, Indianapolis, and the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris. At one time, he taught art and anatomy. He joined Capitol Glass Co. (Missouri St., later capitol Ave., Indianapolis) in approximately 1939. In that same year he was awarded the design contract for the Milo Stuart Memorial Window for the new Stuart Hall on the Arsenal Tech campus that was being constructed. The following is a partial list of Indiana places of worship that house some of his work: St. George Orthodox, Indianapolis; Holy Name, Beech Grove; Marian University Chapel, Indianapolis; St. Patrick, Terre Haute; St. Charles, Bloomington, St. Paul, Tell City, and Alverns Retreat House, Indianapolis.
