Recently cleaned and in-painted; recent frame. --- This painting was featured in our 9/2/2022 weekly newsletter. "Genevieve Goth Graf was married to Brown County artist Carl Graf and the sister of renown portraitist Marie Goth. She was a teacher in the Indianapolis Public School system and eventually moved to Brown County full time. Much of her output focused on floral still lifes. Bittersweet falls into that category (as well as featuring Brown County pottery) though the floral aspect is all but past tense. Excellent condition and rather large as her work goes." --- This painting sold at our 10/2/22 Fall Curated Sale of Historic Fine Art.
