Leon Pesheret was born in England where he studied art, architecture and design. He emigrated to Chicago in the 1920s and continued his studies at the Chicago Institute of Art and ultimately opened and maintained a studio in Whitewater, WI. Much of the subject matter we have seen is centered around Chicago but he was known to travel across the United States for his work.
