Roland Osborn was born in 1904 in Richmond, IN. He was a member of the Indian Art Club and the Brown County Gallery Association. He participated in various group exhibitions, including the Hoosier Salon, in addition to showing his work at the John Herron Art Institute and the Indiana Art Club. His work is on display at Depauw University, Indiana University, and the Soldier’s and Sailor’s Memorial in Knightstown, IN.
