The title of his master’s thesis was ‘Three Original Paintings.’ He was an instructor in Music and Art in the Fairmount, IN, schools from 1934-1945. He joined the faculty of Illinois Wesleyan University in 1946 and served as director of the school of art from 1949 until his death in 1971.
